The Best Las Vegas Shows Reviews

Entertainment lovers will be hard pushed to make decisions about which show to see in the glamorous and glitzy city of Las Vegas. The place is simply alive and bristling with that unmistakeable showbiz gleam. And some of the world’s greatest and most respected stars regularly perform there. Headline acts, such as Elton John and Celine Dion famously command kingly or queenly sums for one night only acts. Vegas is the undisputed Entertainment Capital of the World, and its venues, like Caesar’s Palace are often as famous as the superstars who play there.

Seeing one or more Las Vegas Shows is something that should be on everyone’s to do list! Performances are spectacular, this is an environment where understated is not a word that features in the vernacular. Vegas shows are bigger and better than other shows, they’re high impact glamorous occasions that are unforgettable.

But don’t be fooled into thinking it’s all gambling and cabaret in Las Vegas. The city’s reputation as a stand up comedy and musical theatre venue is strong too.

Comedy As soon as the spotlight hits stand up comedian and actor Kevin James at the Mirage in Las Vegas, the audience knows it’s in good hands. His is currently promising to be one of the greatest Las Vegas Shows running. James’s face is one that many will recognise from the CBS comedy series The King of Queens, in which he plays Doug Heffernan. He is instantly recognisable as the Brooklyn based single parent fireman from the movie I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry, a story that covers, with hilarious results, the bogus gay marriage between Larry (played by James) and his fire-buddy Chuck (Adam Sandler). On stage doing his stand up routine James is as self deprecating as ever, and his observations on every day life are made from an obscure but honestly funny angle.

Music For many who loved their music the first time around, this return of British American rock band Fleetwood Mac to the world of Las Vegas Shows will come as a welcome treat. The beautiful Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham, whose unmistakeable breathy vocals made the band’s sound so distinctive will be amongst the line up along with other Mac band members John McVie and Mick Fleetwood. Fleetwood Mac’s Las Vegas Shows are rated as some of their best ones, so when they are in the city it is well worth booking tickets to see them.

Theatre/Musicals The transition from screen to stage of the Lion King has been a spectacular one and the show really does benefit from a Las Vegas venue. It’s big, it’s loud and it’s a dazzling spectacular of breathtaking proportions. The music and the songs are familiar, anyone who’s had a child will probably know them all backwards! And this makes for a wonderful easy feeling watching the performance. Although the show derives from the movie (it is incidentally the first Disney production ever to go to stage) it has some very different aspects, making it very much it’s own creation. The costumes are outstanding, the choreography suberb. This really is one of those Las Vegas Shows that’s a must. Las Vegas Shows
